Indes holds some of the most interesting techniques of historical fencing,
like the five Strikes (Zornhau, Twerhau, etc.), cutting over the arms (abschneiden) and nearly all techniques in the bind. However, fencing or wrestling in Indes is hard. The combatant has to identify and priorise the area of attack and defense. He has to generate proper force and has to use his whole body in a fraction of time. How can you decrypt the techniques of Indes and make yourself ready to act proper in this situation? In this workshop, I will show you a possible way. We will look at the concept of epicentre.
An instrument to deconstruct a combat situation and generate a technique fitting for the context. We will also look at methods for training, so that your subconscious mind will act on it in sparring and free fights.
