General rules
Please help us make the event a smooth one and - even more importantly - ensure there is another one. Because this is always dependent on the participants’ behaviour, please keep the following rules in mind:
COVID-19
Please read and make sure you understand our Covid-19 prevention concept. You can find it here.
In case we have to cancel the event because of pandemic related legal reasons, you will get a monetary refund of the ticket price minus the money transaction fees.
NO OPEN DRINKING CONTAINERS
From this year onwards, we will NOT provide drinking bottles or single use drinking cups any more, so please bring your own resealable drinking containers for this years event.
The reasons for this change are twofold: Firstly, we want to eliminate the possibility for a mix-up with another person's bottle/cup for pandemic reasons. Secondly, we want to eliminate plastic waste as much as possible.
NO BAGGAGE IN THE HALLS
Absolutely no baggage (suitcases, trolleys, backpacks, fencing bags, etc.), flags, banners, logos, rollup displays, etc. inside the halls!!! Only the fencing equipment immediately needed for the specific workshop / for sparring is allowed!
NO SMOKING
Absolutely no smoking inside the halls/building or on the grounds of the school. Please follow the signs at the main entrance to find the designated smoking area!
NO STREET SHOES IN THE HALLS
No street shoes allowed in the halls/building outside of the front entrance. So if you are going to smoke you must change shoes… every time!
WATCH YOUR VALUABLES
Bring your wallet, mobile phone, passport, etc. into the halls in the smallest bag/pouch possible - we need every single square centimetre for workshops/sparring.
BE ON TIME
Be on time in the workshops. Nothing is more annoying than people who come late.
NO FOOD OR OPEN CUPS INSIDE THE HALLS
Absolutely no food or open cups/glasses inside the halls! If you want to take something to drink with you, use a sealable bottle.
BE CAREFUL WHILE CARRYING WEAPONS
Be careful while carrying your weapons, especially the pointy ones. Always carry them with the point downwards.
CLEANING
If you make a mess, please clean it up immediately and not 3 days later so we need a high pressure cleaner to remove it. We have cleaning materials AND are willing to help you, but we can’t help if we don’t know.
THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE
And the last and most important rule… HAVE FUN!
